Escape The Slave To Money
Freedom Life Board Game is a personal-finance simulation board game for up to 6 players online, played in the browser with nothing extra to install. It is built on the idea of "escaping Slave to Money", drawing on careers, salaries, living costs and financial situations in Thailand in 2025–2026.
Why we built this game
We want people in Thailand to understand how personal finance works — cash flow, income from assets (Passive Income), debt and investment decisions — by playing for fun instead of learning from theory alone. Players take on a random career, manage salary, debt and expenses, and invest to build assets that work for them, until Passive Income exceeds expenses and they move on to the Freedom Path to reach life goals across many dimensions, not just money.
Important limits
This game is a simulation for entertainment and learning. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or credit advice. The numbers in the game are designed for gameplay and conceptual comparison. Players should research real data and consult an expert before making real financial decisions.
Who it's for
It suits groups of friends, families or teams who want to play a board game together online, with no need to meet in person — just share the Room ID and jump in. It works for people who want to understand the basics of finance in a fun way, and for people who already love board games and want to try a new theme.
Supported play modes
- 2-6 real players — create a room and share the room code with friends
- Add NPCs (bots) — the room owner can fill the table with bot players, so there's no need to wait for enough real people
- Observer mode — up to 2 people can watch a game in progress without playing
